Aug-10-2006 14:00TweetFollow @OregonNews Bomb Squads Roll out to Two Salem LocationsSalem-News.comResidents should stay clear of Roth's IGA on Lancaster and Salem Hospital
(SALEM) - Local area police are on the scene of two suspected suspicious devices in Salem. Information is scarce, but both Salem and State Police bomb squads have been deployed according to Salem Police. One of the locations is the Roth's IGA store at 702 Lancaster Drive NE in Salem. State Police troopers are on the scene at this local grocery store. The other location is Salem Hospital at 665 Winter Street SE, where Salem officers have deployed one of their bomb teams. Lobbies are staffed at the hospital to answer questions. All entrances and exits at Salem Hospital are guarded and anyone carrying a bag will have their bag searched. The hospital is canceling all elective appointments for the remainder of the day. All patients who are here will be seen. The cancellation is to minimize traffic on campus until the situation is resolved. The Family Birth Center will continue to accept women for birth services. Urgent Care and the Emergency Department are both open and ready to take anyone who needs their services. Police remain on the scene at both locations. With Salem's four-alarm fire early this morning and the national terrorist alert raised to red after a plot exposed in the United Kingdom, law enforcement officials are tense. We'll have more information as it develops. Articles for August 9, 2006 | Articles for August 10, 2006 | Articles for August 11, 2006 | Quick Links

The Goebbelesque presentation of another lie before the election has created a wave of fake copy cat bomb threats. You can thank the lies yesterday designed to keep support for the war in Iraq going, designed to boost support for the Republicans in the coming election, designed to make Tony Blair look needed. You saw alot of theatrics and garbage on the news but there was no real substance to the fish story told yesterday by the United Kingdom Intelligence. It is weapons of mass destruction and flight 800 all over again. When will Americans ever learn. I have called overseas, the people outside of England believe this also to be another fake presentation. It is similar to the way George Soro's (who I like) manipulated the elections in Ukraine to be pro-West. People were paid to cheer in favor of the Western candidate, he hired a whole group of Disneyland type supporters to put on a show to give an impression that the west is best.
