Cartoon Strip: Nota Bene by Leonardo No. 54 - Fool on the Hill

This is the fifty-fourth installment of the Salem-News.com original series "Nota Bene by Leonardo" by Salem cartoonist Glen Bledsoe.

(Earth-K12) - The pendulum of power swings back and forth. Having swung in one direction to the limit (and beyond), it now begins its trek in the reverse. Leaders of the extreme right now find their power fading. Caught up in the fevered cry for war their words were quite different from their speeches now. They have the difficult job of admitting their mistakes and covering for their blindness. It is not a time for recrimination. It is a time to look to the future. Join me as we listen to a back room conversation between two men of power from opposing sides.

, no Leo, it won't wash. You are a futurist visionary! I've the documents to prove it. I've seen the D.E.A. satellite survailance,remember their interest in some of your past episodes?(it's a suspiciously grainy frontal image impllicating you for independent expression). It's also suspected you own a mojo hand .,I'm not making this up. None of this is of concern to me as long as the ..,stem cell conception is planted. It would be a very popular series to read.,I'm still not making this up. Their merrily cremated remains could all be dumped in that land fill in Jersey where the World Trade Center debris was sent.,with a Haliburton contractor driving the front end loader.,something like that.I just made that up.

no, I meant like an episode where the entire present administration and appointed advisors are being prepared for cremation in a third world morgue., or all of them in hell meeting the dictators of signifigance from the past and present. though thinking about it it may be difficult to include this in one episode, perhaps a 20 part series?

It's a circus. if you've not already seen it please check out the DVD "Loose Change". You may be in for a shock, have any needed meds for this malady at hand during the preview. The Pentagon wasn't hit with a 757 nor was there any wreckage of flight 93 in that field in Pennsylvania. You've got to see this film for yourself. Thanks Leo for another thought provoking episode. Can you arrange one with all of them in the same funeral parlor?
