Early Bird Sign-Up For Awesome 3000 is Thursday

The event, this year on May 6th, brings thousands of Salem-Keizer area students to Bush’s Pasture Park.

(SALEM) - The early-bird registration for this years Awesome 3000 fun run is Thursday.

The annual Awesome 3000 is a fundraiser for the Salem-Keizer Education Foundation, which awards money to teachers and staff of the Salem-Keizer School District.

The fee is $17 per runner in K-12, and $12 per runner in the pre-kindergarten Run for Literacy.

Registration locations are:

Gallagher`s Fitness Resources - 232 Commerical St. N.E.

Salem Family YMCA - 685 Court St. N.E.

After Thursday, registration fees will rise to $27, and $22.

NO registrations will be accepted after April 27th.

Parents can also register runners online at www.skeducationfoundation.org, or by sending entries to Awesome 3000, P.O. Box 999, Salem, OR 97308.

Parents can pick-up their child`s registration packets from 10:00 to 8:00 PM, May 4th through 5th, at 1110 Commercial St. N.E.
