Salem Police responded to an armed robbery at Gamer's Oasis on Wallace Road in West Salem Saturday. The owners of the store say two men entered the premises just before 6:00 p.m. armed with kitchen knives.
The offending pages are still readily available more than 12 hours after reporting.

I regularly get spam but this morning I got one that gained my attention. The link was to a US Government Website. I won't give the full links in text form but it was on http://collaborate.nist.gov/ which seems to be some sort of invitation only collaboration / wiki site.
Now more than 12 hours later I have still not had another email and the offending pages are still readily available.
The driver of a car and a motorcycle rider were both killed.

Police say two people were killed Friday afternoon in a head-on crash on Highway 20 east of Albany. It happened at approximately 2:45 p.m.
State Police troopers say a 1999 Saturn 4-door, operated by 46-year old Michelle Irma Eldridge of Lebanon, was westbound on Highway 20 near milepost 9.
The death is unconfirmed, but militants say the Taliban is already holding a "shura" council to select Mehsud's replacement.

Military officials in Pakistan believe Pakistani Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud may have been killed during a CIA missile strike.
Pakistani security officials report that Mehsud, his wife and bodyguards were killed on August 5th 2009 when an American drone aircraft attacked their location in the Zangar area in South Waziristan.
The FDIC estimates that the cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) will be $45 million.

Community First Bank in Prineville, Oregon, was closed today by the Oregon Division of Finance & Corporate Securities, which appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as receiver.

The Salem Clinic has welcomed a new physician to the historic capitol city clinic. Darcy L. Blanchard, DO is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and will be practicing in the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Department at the main clinic at 2020 Capitol Street NE.
Dr. Blanchard holds an undergraduate degree from Whitworth University and a medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center.
One of the alleged victims is 15-years old.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Patrol personnel arrested the subject authorities dubbed as the "shoe fetish man"; who is believed responsible for a series of related crimes involving female shoe shoppers - occurring in both Clackamas County and Medford, Oregon.
46-year old Steven George Bronson was arrested Wednesday, August 05, 2009 at approximately 4:45 p.m.
The crash investigation continues and police say criminal charges are being investigated.

Police say six people were injured, one critically, in a head on traffic collision on Thursday, August 6th about 7:00 a.m.
Senior Trooper Carla Urbigkeit of the Newport Area Command, says a 1998 Ford passenger car was westbound on Highway 20 at about milepost 32 when it drifted onto the right shoulder and struck the guardrail. "It then veered into the oncoming lane where it struck an eastbound 2005 Pontiac van head on," Urbigkeit said.
Highway 20 is now open at MP 9 between Albany and Lebanon after a vehicle crash.

Oregon State Police report that state troopers from the OSP Albany Command say two people died in a traffic collision on Highway 20 at Milepost 9 today. OSP Sgt. Dan Swift says this is a section of highway just east of Albany.
Troopers advise that Highway 20 is now open at MP 9 between Albany and Lebanon after a vehicle crash.
