Yamhill City Recorder Charged in Thefts

An investigation was launched after the city mayor noticed funds missing from numerous transactions over the last year.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - 48-year old Sandra Elizabeth Wodarczak was the city recorder for the city of Yamhill. The Recorder for the City of Yamhill has been arrested on charges relating to the theft of over $18,000 in city funds, Yamhill County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Ken Summer Said.

48-year old Sandra Elizabeth Wodarczak of rural Yamhill, was arrested and taken to the Yamhill County Jail on the charges of Aggravated Theft, and Official Misconduct. Summers says Wodarczak has been the City Recorder and City Treasurer since 2000.

Two Stabbed in Bar Fight, Dayton Man Arrested

Both victims underwent surgery and were admitted to the hospital.

(DAYTON, Ore.) - Stabbing investigation art Two Yamhill County men are hospitalized following a fight at the Ferry Street Landing Tavern in Dayton where they are alleged to have been stabbed by a third man who was arrested later last night. Yamhill County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the fight at 400 Ferry Street Wednesday evening at 9:36 PM.

The two victims, 52-year old Yasar Uzun of Newberg, and 45-year old Robert Danielson of McMinnville were transported via ambulance to the Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville.
