Conscientious Objector Natan Blanc Sentenced to Prison for Third time Over Refusing to Join Israeli Army

Another Israeli says no to taking part in occupation and oppression of Palestine.

(TEL AVIV ) - Natan Blanc Natan Blanc, 19 years old from Haifa, arrived, Sunday, 6.1.2013, to the Induction Base in Tal-hashomer, where he again declared his refusal to serve in the Israeli Army.

He was sentenced to 14 days of imprisonment for his refusal, in the military prison No. 6 near Atlit.

Hindus Ask Pope to Take Lead in His Call for Dialogue

Rajan Zed, President of Universal Society of Hinduism, said that serious and honest interfaith dialogue was the need of the hour and Pope should take the lead in organizing one.

(RENO) - Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed Hindus have welcomed call for dialogue by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI and have asked him to take the lead in organizing one.
