Are the Defenders of `Antisemitism` Losing the Edge?
Debbie Menon for Salem-News.com
How many times must world leaders watch them fumble the cards before they learn that they cheat and cannot be trusted?
(MELBOURNE) -
A year ago, Americans were reluctant to discuss Zionism or anti-Zionism or read the stuff, even “moderate Arabs and Muslims” (whatever that means), shied away from the communities around these two camps and lacked the strength to support the few that might have had, the guts to stand up and confront real controversy.
There are hundreds of journalists who would not want to go within twenty miles of an anti-Zionist for fear of being castigated as questionable and “controversial characters” because this was how most of the rest of the Industry responds to them.

PTSD in World War II Vets: Direct Relation to Alcoholism & Drug Abuse
Dr. Phillip Leveque Salem-News.com
The alcoholism rate of Veterans is at least twice that of non-Veterans, the relative risks are appalling...
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
There has been a lot of Bull Roar that WWII Vets do not/did not have PTSD as did Vietnam and Middle East Vets. I say Bull Roar. We WWII Vets got it too. In a previous article, I wrote that a WWII Ranger still had it 64 years later.
I can say the same about myself. I still have it and I don’t believe it will ever go away despite what some of the pseudo psychiatrists at the VA have been bleating, for instance “You’ll get over it in a few months. Take these Valiums”.

Afghanistan: - Karzai`s Bargaining Chips are Running Out!
Khalil Nouri Salem-News.com
The people of Afghanistan would love you forever if you returned them to the kind of leadership that they know and understand; the kind of Afghan leadership that they themselves have chosen for and among themselves for thousands of years.
(LOS ANGELES) -
It’s ludicrous that in a matter of weeks Mr. Karzai has gone from being a frail, faltering, unqualified leader hampered by a deceitful family, to the man who will magically bring together the disparate welfare of Afghans with his commendable leadership.
The boosting of President Hamid Karzai’s credibility that now paints him as a true national leader not only shows the West’s insincerity in Afghanistan but exposes the futile inconsistencies in efforts by the United States to accomplish its goals.

Ken O’Keefe Special to Salem-News.com
"...we fought in the name of justice and humanity. We were right to do so, in every way."
(ISTANBUL) -
I have for many years understood that we, people of conscience, are the true holders of power in this world.
Frustratingly however we have largely relinquished that power and failed to reach our full potential.

UN Recognition of Israel is Fatally Flawed
Christopher King Salem-News.com
Christopher King argues that beneath Israel’s litany of crimes against the Palestinians, and most recently its murder of humanitarian workers aboard the Gaza-bound international aid flotilla, lies the fact of its own illegality.
(LONDON) -
The true nature of the so-called freedom-loving, democratic state of Israel is clear to the world following its military attack on Gaza, and the illegal blockade which causes terrible suffering.
These horrifying events should focus minds within the international community on the legitimacy of the Israeli regime.

Corporate Entities... Friend or Foe?
Bob Collinsworth – Salem-News.com
I feel that many corporations do considerable good for mankind but many are driven by a level of greed that is not just offensive, it is obscene.
(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) -
Big corporations are given Tax-Id numbers by the Federal government just as you and I are. They must file income tax returns just as you and I do.
They are considered entities in their own right and sometime seem to acquire pseudo-human status in the eyes of many organizations and individuals.

Is Israel Planning Act of Desperation ?
Gordon Duff Salem-News.com
It still holds two stolen nukes for possible port attack.
(CINCINNATI, Ohio) -
Whenever the gang that has seized power in Israel wants to move forward their agenda-their plan to use American lives to dominate not only the Middle East but Central Asia-they reach into their bag of tricks.
Sometimes it’s a simple story: “rockets from Gaza” or another phony Bin Laden audio tape. However, too often, as we have learned time and time again, something very bad happens at just the right time.
