Bearcats Nelson Named to Pre-Season Second Team All-American

Last year, the Bearcats finished the season with a 7-2 overall record and were ranked #25 in the final regular season poll.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Willamette University Football The leader of the Willamette University defense, inside linebacker Jack Nelson (Sr., Portland, OR/Jesuit HS, has been selected Second Team Preseason All-America by D3football.com.

Nelson is one of just 50 athletes to be named to the Preseason All-America Team.

Willamette LB Named to Pre-Season DIII Second Team

Last fall, he registered 67 unassisted tackles and produced 45 assists to lead the NWC with 112 total tackles.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Jack Nelson Willamette University Willamette University inside linebacker Jack Nelson (Sr., Portland, Ore./Jesuit HS) has been named NCAA Division III Second Team Preseason All-America by the Beyond Sports Network.

Nelson was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award last season. He was named First Team All-Northwest Conference in 2012 and 2013.

Willamette Announces 2014 Volleyball Schedule

Willamette will travel to Seguin, Texas, to open the year on Aug. 29 and Aug. 30 at the Texas Lutheran Bulldog Classic.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Willamette University volleyball After winning six of its last seven matches in the Northwest Conference in 2013, the Willamette University volleyball team hopes to bring that success into the 2014 season.

The Bearcats have announced their schedule for the fall, which includes two tournaments early in the season, plus 16 games in the challenging NWC.

Willamette Men`s Basketball Adds Seven New Recruits

The seven player recruiting class is coming to Willamette from all across the country.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - After the departure of a four-player senior class that featured the 'Cats leading scorer and best three-point shooter throughout the 2013-14 season, the Willamette University men's basketball team has some big shoes to fill.

In an effort to fill that void and provide additional depth to the Bearcat roster, Head Coach Kip Ioane has announced the incoming recruiting class for the 2014-15 season.
