2011 - the Year of Agent Orange Victims

The Dialogue Group is calling on the US government to finance the largest part of the fund.

(DA NANG, Vietnam) - Monsanto's Agent Orange On August 10th 1961, the US Air force began spraying chemicals over Vietnam. Several events will take place this year to mark the fiftieth anniversary of that dreadful act.

The Vietnam War (1961-1975) is known for the massive bombing of North Vietnam. Less obvious and unknown for too long by the public at large has been the chemical warfare waged in the Southern part of that country from 1961 to 1971, whose consequences have been dramatic and long-lasting.

To have our returning veterans suffer a 45% higher unemployment rate than the average U.S. citizen, is shameful.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - Soldiers in Iraq According to an article titled “Veterans face high unemployment after military service”, written by Alana Semuels, and published by the L.A. Times on July 11, 2011, the unemployment rate for veterans who have served since September of 2001 currently sits at 13.3%.

The average unemployment rate for all U.S. citizens is currently 9.2%. Ms. Semuels suggests that the disparity between the unemployment rate for veterans and non-veterans will widen...

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Protesters voicing their opinion of DOW Chemical and its original position of dodging the bullet on Agent Orange The letters keep coming and I am just one small platform taking on the issue of Agent Orange. I would hate to even venture a guess as to how many people have been affected world-wide with the AO problem.
