(SAN FRANCISCO) - I read with interest "Iran was not what we had Thought" by Kourosh Ziabari. I agree with Mr. Ziabari that Iran is a beautiful country with a rich history and well worth a visit. Peter D. Feaver is a Harvard University graduate, a current Alexander F. Hehmeyer Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at Duke University, and the director of Triangle Institute for Security Studies (TISS).
But Peter is perhaps best known for his mission under President Bush as the special advisor for strategic planning and institutional reform on the National Security Council from 2005 to 2007.
Press TV realistically has fulfilled its promise to serve as an outlet that exhibits the bitter realities that the mainstream media otherwise overlook.
(TEHRAN) -
Press TV came under harsh criticism by British media outlets during the period of political unrest that followed the reelection of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in June 2009.
This seemed to be simply a retaliatory act against Iranian statesmen’s explicit condemnation of the UK’s BBC, which they alleged provoked riot and insurgence in a turbulent Tehran.
