In 2012, the US Senate Finance Committee began an investigation into the prescription opioid epidemic. When the report was finished, Orrin Hatch simply had the contents sealed closed.

The Salvation Army of Las Vegas Responds with Emotional and Spiritual Care after Tragedy

The Las Vegas Salvation Army is providing food and hydration for those waiting in long lines to donate.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - salvation army The Salvation Army has dispatched a mobile canteen to the United Blood Services location at 6930 W. Charleston Blvd. to provide food and hydration for those waiting in long lines to donate. Mobile canteens are also being considered at other strategic locations in the city.

Needs are also being evaluated at the Thomas and Mack Center, which has be opened up as a shelter.

The Tet Offensive occurred during my service there; it was a defining event in the Vietnam War. Tet, by the way, is the Vietnamese New Year.

I was a U.S. Army Transportation captain stationed in Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon real estate The component which displayed the weakest performance was the multi-family market which plunged 5.8% to 323K. There was a 1.6% increase in single-family housing starts, reaching 851K. Housing starts declined in the West by 4% to 312K.

The Portland, Oregon market is part of this housing segment. The sharp rise in the number of building permits issued – up 5.7% to a 1300K annualized rate is significantly higher than market forecasts of 1220K.

Salem Couple Sentenced to Prison for Selling Heroin

Heroin is a killer. Use has been increasing among men and women, most age groups, and all income levels.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - heroin Today, Polk County District Attorney Aaron Felton announced the conviction and sentencing of Jeffrey Bledsoe and Adrienne Santrizos.

The Salem couple was sentenced to prison terms of over 10 years and 7 1/2 years, respectively, for their roles in selling large quantities of heroin as part of an undercover drug enforcement operation.
