Sri Lanka - better recognition as a liberal economy

A country struggling to maintain tourism, Sri Lanka receives good news.

(COLOMBO) - Sri Lanka tourism While receiving its share of bad publicity over the fallout from a deadly civil war that ended just over two years ago, along charges of war crimes and Genocide, Sri Lanka has been ranked 97th among the 184 countries as the freest to carry out business in.

The Sri Lankan economy continues to progress toward greater economic freedom, registering significant score gains in the past two years.

(COLOMBO, Sri Lanka) - Alleged murderer, Sampath Chandra Pushpa Vidanapathirana, in the company of president Rajapaksa. The murder of Kuram Shaikah Zaman, a prosthetic expert with the Red Cross who worked in Gaza, is alleged to have been carried out by a local politician.

The death has led to sharp criticism over the failure of the Sri Lankan government to maintain law and order and also for encouraging lawlessness and criminal behaviour.

In the meantime, I will continue to highlight and speak out against what I consider to be war crimes of the Rajapakse regime and to defend the right to self determination by the Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

(LONDON Sri Lanka Guardian) - Sri Lanka I was meant to travel to Sri Lanka this week as part of an official delegation from the GUE/NGL (Left group in European Parliament). The idea to travel to Sri Lanka came from the meeting I hosted in the Parliament a few months ago about the massacre of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

My wish to go was strengthened by the many meetings I have had with the Tamil Diaspora, and others active on the issue of Tamil rights, in the recent period.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Sign at Bagram airfield It hurts to think about it. I would be hesitant to try to name all of the places that war and ruined and closed off our otherwise amazing and wonderful planet. Dictatorships, colonization, fundamentalist religious conflict, narco terrorists, military juntas; the list is long. It isn't distinguished, but shameful.

The majority of the damage has been a result of weaponry manufactured by what used to be the world's two largest superpowers, the U.S.A. and the Soviet Union.

Dr. Rajannan visited Salem, Oregon in the US in 1962, and was received by the Rotarians, city officials, senators, and the Governor of the State Oregon, and was presented with a Key to the American City-Salem.

According to this theory, the gene pool was being polluted by the mentally ill, that the severely mentally ill were carriers of defective "germ plasm" and thus, were a threat to the health of American society.

(TEL AVIV) - Abir Aramin On Sunday 10 July 2011, 8 Tammuz, the legal seal of approval was given to the book The King’s Torah [1] by Israel`s High Court of Justice, which ruled that the child Abir Aramin, age 10, who was shot in the head three years ago in Anata, was struck by a bullet that came from an unknown rifle fired by unknown soldiers or police.

The projectile that was found under her small body has found no home, and it might as well stop searching.
