(PORTLAND, OR) - Boston Marathon explosion About a million or more military Combat Veterans have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Whether they were able to watch the carnage of this recent Boston massacre is improbable.

For me, it brings back my WWII crossing of the Rhine River when about 150 members of my battalion were ravaged and many killed by artillery and every other kind of weapon the Germans had.

Three women taking part in aid convoy to Gaza were attacked in Benghazi.

Three women who were part of an aid convoy passing through Libya on the way to Gaza have been sexually assaulted in Benghazi, after a group of five British nationals were briefly kidnapped.

The three women, two of whom are sisters, were part of a large aid convoy travelling to the Gaza Strip.

US Hands Full Control of Bagram Prison to Afghanistan

The U.S. partly handed over the high-security prison and around 3,000 suspected Taliban fighters to Afghan control last year.

(BAGRAM VOA News) - Bagram Air Base Afghanistan Afghanistan has taken full control of a controversial detention center from the United States. Bagram military prison was handed over to Afghanistan in a ceremony Monday.

The transfer was scheduled to happen earlier this month, but was abruptly canceled just before a ceremony was to begin.

(WASHINGTON DC) - Hunger strike over Gitmo On Sunday, March 24 human rights activists throughout the United States began a seven day fast and series of actions in solidarity with the men currently on hunger strike at the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Dozens of men, according to detainee lawyers, are entering their seventh week of a hunger strike to protest their indefinite detention and a new wave of alleged abuses.
