Woman Helps Man Escape from Oregon Prison

(SALEM, Ore. ) - A woman helped a man escape from the Mill Creek Correctional Facility in Salem Saturday afternoon.

Police are searching for 34-year-old Jerry Teixeira, and 27-year-old Lacy Kay Evans, after he was last seen by MCCF staff at 2:40 p.m. Officials say they believe Teixeira walked away from the minimum security prison -- located five miles southeast of Salem -- to a waiting vehicle driven by Evans.
