Salem, Oregon Grass Fire at 4-Alarms - UPDATE #2

Drivers using Salem-Dallas Highway in the next few hours should expect delays westbound as fire crews battle the blaze.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem, and other area firefighters are battling a large, high risk grass fire just off the Salem-Dallas Highway at College Drive.

The fire has gone to a 4th alarm, and fire crews from Keizer, Marion and Polk Counties are on the scene and have been battling the fire for about the past two hours in hot, dry conditions.

A couple of homes in the area have been evacuated in the area off Doaks Ferry Road.
