Thousands Turn Out as Salem Becomes Basketball City USA

Another big hit this year was the return of an old Salem classic: Bob's Hamburgers.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Hoopla 2014 Thousands of basketball players, their families, and just fans of the game, turned out Saturday for the 16th annual Oregon National Guard 3-on-3 basketball tournament in Salem.

The streets surrounding the Oregon State Capitol grounds were transformed into basketball courts, where players from every age group and ability, showed off their best Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Larry Bird basketball skills.

Salem area drivers should expect delays and road closures in and around the Oregon State Capitol building starting Tuesday, and through late Sunday night.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Hoopla Thousands of basketball players and fans will descend upon Oregon's Capitol City this Thursday through Sunday for the 16th annual Oregon National Guard Hoopla.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - salem oregon If you missed out on getting a preview of Bob’s Hamburgers at the Marion County Fair, well never fear, because is pleased to be the first to announce that the Bob’s booth will be part of this year's addition of the Oregon National Guard Hoopla in downtown Salem.

Gina Dankenbring says the Bob’s booth will be right in front of the Oregon State Capitol and will be open all four days on the event, which runs July 31st thought August 3rd.
