UN Rights Council Says Syria Gas Attack Videos, Photos Fake: Russia

Russia says the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) has confirmed that the videos and photos purporting to show the victims of a chemical attack near the Syrian capital, Damascus, were fabricated.

(DAMASCUS) - Syria pro govt protest The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a Tuesday statement that international experts as well as Syrian public and religious leaders presented their evidence to the 24th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on September 9.

It also said evidence provided by numerous witnesses confirms that militants fighting against the Syrian government used chemical weapons in the Damascus suburb of western Ghouta last month.

It was September 19, 2002, and US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was scheduled to address the Senate Armed Services Committee about why it was necessary to invade a country that never attacked us: Iraq.

I was so concerned about the pending war that I flew to Washington DC from my home in San Francisco. It was the first congressional hearing I had ever witnessed.

The police subsequently confirmed that she was either raped or sexually assaulted: “She had been raped or sexually assaulted and had suffered vaginal injuries, according to a Sri Lankan police report”.

Ms. Tkacheva waived her right to anonymity as a rape-victim because she wanted justice. Sadly, justice, in Rajapaksa Sri Lanka, is the ultimate oxymoron.

The Obama Administration Prepares a “Marshall Plan” to Reconstruct Syria, But Not for the Syrians.

(BEIRUT) - Syrian flags The Group of Eight leaders meeting in Lough Erne, Northern Ireland, having called for an international conference on the ongoing crisis in Syria to be held “as soon as possible” could not agree on much else that might end the civil war anytime soon there.

The White House now is reportedly in private agreement with Russia and Iran that the Assad government will remain in power until next year’s election.

The intention to close Voronezh Human Rights House is linked to the peaceful and legitimate human rights work of the organisations it houses.

(YORK, UK) - Voronezh Human Rights House Charitable foundation "International Project - Youth Human Rights Movement" (YHRM), received a letter from the Department of Property and Estate Relations of Voronezh City Administration that breaks their lease and enjoins YHRM to leave the premises.

A similar letter was received on 17 May 2013 by the Confederation of Free Labour, an interregional trade union, whose offices are also located in Voronezh Human Rights House.
