Three Teens Found Safe after Opal Creek Hiking Trip

All three boys are healthy and uninjured.

(LYONS, Ore) - Three teens who went out on a hiking trip Saturday in the Opal Creek Wilderness area east of Salem, are now safe and back with family members.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team tells Salem-News.com that the three boys decided it was too dark out and decided to stay the night and walkout in the morning light.
