Missing Snowmobiler Located Safely (NEW PHOTOS)

The rider was dehydrated and cold but refused transport to the hospital.

(CRESCENT, Ore.) - 65-year old Robert Plumb, was located safely today by a search and rescue helicopter A man who took a snowmobile out for a ride last night near Crescent, Oregon and never returned, 65-year old Robert Plumb, was located safely today by a search and rescue helicopter. Plumb was located at 12:37 P.M. by an aircraft out of Jackson County, approximately 20 miles East of Crescent.

Tim Evinger with the Klamath County Sheriff's Office says Plumb is in remarkably good shape considering his ordeal during the past 24 hours with temperatures overnight dipping below zero.

Missing Person Search Underway Near Klamath Falls

They say the man is lost in an area where there are hundreds of snowmobile tracks.

(KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.) - Robert Plumb of Crescent, Oregon left his home on a snowmobile before noon Tuesday. Photo: Klamath County Sheriff Klamath County Deputies responded around 7:30 PM last night on a report of an overdue person who had been snowmobiling in northern Klamath County. Klamath County Sheriff Tim Evinger says preliminary information is that 65-year old Robert Plumb of Crescent, Oregon left his home on a snowmobile before noon Tuesday.

"Klamath County Searchers on snowmobiles searched throughout the night after following snowmobile tracks thought to be Plumbs. The tracks continued for miles south until they met up with a more heavily used trail where the tracks blended with those from other snowmobiles."

Salem Man Remains Missing After Falling From Cliff Near Depoe Bay

The man has not been seen since falling Friday evening at Rocky Creek State Park.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Rocky Creek State Park Wayside in Depoe Bay, Oregon State police say a Salem-area man remains missing after reportedly falling off a cliff Friday evening at Rocky Creek State Park wayside about two miles south of Depoe Bay while visiting the area with his wife and friend.

Lieutenant Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police says that around 6:00 PM Friday, 43-year old Brian Albert Wells of Salem reportedly stopped at Rocky Creek State Park wayside with his 54-year old wife and a 62-year old male friend to take pictures.

Salem Man Missing After Falling from Oregon Coast Cliff

The man fell about 60 feet while taking photographs.

(DEPOE BAY, Ore.) - Photograph of Brian Albert Wells A Salem-area man is missing after he reportedly fell off a cliff at Rocky Creek State Park wayside about two miles south of Depoe Bay while visiting the area with his wife and friend Friday evening.

Friday at approximately 6:00 PM 43-year old Brian Albert Wells of Salem, stopped at Rocky Creek State Park wayside to take pictures.

Driver Seriously Injured on Interstate 5 South of Roseburg

Troopers are attempting to locate a third unidentified vehicle involving in this crash that drove away southbound from the scene.

(ROSEBURG, Ore.) - Crash on I-5 South of Roseburg, Oregon, 1-7-08 A Roseburg man was seriously injured Sunday night in a weather-related traffic crash on Interstate 5 south of Roseburg.

Police say the man had just returned to his car after a non-injury single vehicle crash when he was struck by a driver and actually ejected from his vehicle.

Escaped Prisoner from Columbia River Captured

Clackamas County Inter Agency Task Force Locate And Arrest

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 29-year old Dustin Nyberg was captured after escaping from an Oregon state prison work crew, 1-2-08 An escaped state inmate from a work crew was captured tonight by deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. They say that at 6:00 PM, 29-year old Dustin Nyberg was located by an interagency team, passed-out inside his father's residence, located at 10145 SE B Street in Milwaukie.

Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office says Nyberg's alleged stolen vehicle, used to facilitate his escape, was recovered a short distance from this residence on a side street in Milwaukie.

(CAPTURED) State Prison Inmate Walks Away From Work Crew

29-year old Dustin Nyberg was scheduled for release in February 2008.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon fugitive 29-year old Dustin Nyberg A minimum-custody Oregon Department of Corrections inmate walked away from a four-man work crew this afternoon in Portland, officials with the Department of Corrections reported.

Vicki Reynolds with the Department of Corrections says 29-year old Dustin Nyberg was with a crew from Columbia River Correctional Institution in north Portland. "The crew was performing various clean-up duties at the Oregon Food Bank at 7900 NE 33rd, about a mile from the prison. He was last seen taking the trash out at 1:30 PM."

New Vehicle Information in Highway 26 Shooting Investigation

Police hope photo of vehicle of interest and suspect composite sketch will lead them to the shooter.

(ZIG ZAG, Ore.) - Photos in shooting investigation from 12-10-07 in Zig Zag, Oregon Photos of the vehicle of interest in the December 10th shooting of two men on Highway 26 in the Zig Zag area have been released by Oregon State Police. Investigators recently released a composite drawing of an unidentified suspect to help develop tips in their ongoing investigation.

A witness described the vehicle of interest behind the victims' van as a dark green early 2000 model Honda Civic. At this time it is not known if the vehicle was a two or four door model, but police believe the driver is the person that shot the two men.

Suspect Arrested Over Police Officer Assault in Pendleton

Police say Hawk used a vehicle to strike Officer Scott Hays during a felony traffic stop during early morning hours of December 14th.

(PENDLETON, Ore.) - Photo of Marissa Hawk courtesy: Umatilla County District Attorney's Office A woman sought since December 14th, suspected of using a stolen pickup to assault a Milton-Freewater police officer was arrested Tuesday night in Pendleton.

Around 10:35 PM, officers from Pendleton Police Department, acting on information developed by Umatilla Tribal Police, located and arrested 21-year old Marissa Belle Hawk at a Pendleton-area motel.

Army Identifies Officer Missing In Action From Vietnam War

Reports during the war indicated that the crew survived and were in captivity.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - The return of the remains of U.S. Army aviator Major Perry Jefferson, missing from the Vietnam War, will bring closure to an American family who has waited 38 years for his identification and recovery.

But interesting circumstances surround the recovery of this officer. Contrary to what the government reported today, this story is haunted with the possibility that both men were actually captured and held prisoner before meeting their eventual deaths.
