Federal Judge Recommends Reclassification of Medical Marijuana

Judge Wu also removes random drug testing and some restrictions for Charles Lynch.

(LOS ANGELES) - Federal District Judge George H. Wu Federal District Judge George H. Wu issued a revised 41-page written sentencing order this week for former medical cannabis provider, Charles C. Lynch.

In addition, the Judge also granted the defense’s request for reduced supervised restrictions as Lynch remains out on $400,000 bail pending appeal. Lynch’s Federal Public Defender filed an appeal Thursday, May 6.

Measure Finally Implements 1998 Initiative Supported by 69 Percent of District Voters; Adds D.C. to List of Medical Marijuana Jurisdictions.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Marijuana joint Today, by a unanimous vote, the D.C. Council approved amendments to a medical marijuana law first passed in 1998 by 69 percent of District voters.

Congress had blocked implementation of Initiative 59 for more than a decade, until it lifted its ban last year.

Most medical users say that they MEDICATE. This is a far more genteel term.

I presume that this comes from the same source that says an alcoholic drunk is intoxicated. Tipsy comes in there someplace like maybe ¼ drunk.
