27 Years Later, CIA Pilot Tells of Using Secret Costa Rican Airstrip to Traffic Guns, Cocaine

They seemed like isolated events unfolding in the chaos of Central America in the 1980s. But now, the pieces of the puzzle are fitting together.

(SAN JUAN Tico Times) - Contra rebels Costa Rica’s Santa Elena Peninsula in the northwestern province of Guanacaste was the site of a smoking gun in the 1980s Iran-Contra affair, the scandal that rocked the administration of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

Santa Elena also was the site of extensive drug trafficking back then, according to pilot who now says he trafficked cocaine and guns to a secret airstrip on the peninsula.

Hagan Statement on Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Study

Hagan has worked tirelessly to ensure that veterans and their families who were affected receive the health care they need.

(CAMP LEJEUNE, NC) - Kay Hagan U.S. Senator Kay Hagan released the following statement after the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) released a study on birth defects and childhood cancer resulting from water contamination at Camp Lejeune.

The results of the ATSDR study suggest associations between contamination in Camp Lejeune drinking water and neural tube defects (NTDs) like spina bifida as well as childhood hematopoietic cancers such as leukemia.

(SALT LAKE CITY) - Betrayal: Toxic Exposure of U.S. Marines, Murder and Government Cover-up Operation Red Dragonfly will be coming (former marine Tim King on his motorcycle) to Salt Lake City the weekend of may 16-17 2014. Tim and former Marine Robert O'Dowd have written the book "Betrayal: Toxic Exposure of U.S. Marines, Murder and Government Cover-up." I was one of those former Marines stationed at Camp Lejeune.

We are planning a book event with Tony and Catherine Weller for Friday the 16th. we have reserved the downtown public library for the showing of the MSgt. Jerry Ensminger's (USMC ret.) documentary film "Semper Fi, Always Faithful."

The Toxic Apocalypse, We are all in this Together!

If any family understands toxic exposure, it is my family. We have endured it through multiple generations of military service.

(WAYNESBURG, Pa.) - Marine Raiders in the Pacific islands during WWII When I was a child, my father had a photo album from WWII that was full of pictures of nothing but a city in rubble. We were sworn to secrecy and were not permitted to discuss these photos with anyone.

I always remembered this one photo of an arch doorway of a church still standing with the rest of the building just gone. Later in life I learned that there was the impression of little girl’s charred remains on that doorway. I never noticed this detail until it was explained to me by my father. The story of his personal experience of this little girl at the church, I will never forget. As it turned out these were his one of kind personal photos of the devastation after the atomic bomb blast in Nagasaki.

Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, a Blight for Orange County Taxpayers

No veterans cemetery for my fellow Marines, no people's park, and if sports facilities do get built Irvine residents/groups will get first dibs. This is at minumum false advertising, a failed and lapsed warranty under basic consumer laws. - Salem-News.com's Roger Butow, comment in LA Times article on El Toro.

(IRVINE) - MCAS El Toro An Editorial in The LA Times called Irvine's Pretty Decent Park outlines the dilemma now facing the Irvine City Council with the now closed El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.

A housing developer, FivePoint Communities, has offered to construct a park that varies greatly from what was presented to Orange County voters.

NCIS Implicated in Crime Scene Tampering

(IRVINE) - Marine Col Jim Sabow Colonel Sabow was found dead on his quarter’s patio at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA, on January 22, 1991 by his wife.

The government called his death a suicide but the forensic evidence and motive support murder by a government assassination team.

State Department Offers $5 Million Reward in Enrique `Kiki` Camarena Murder

Two retired DEA agents say Kiki uncovered the connection between the cocaine and the crack epidemic and the CIA operation to support the Contra rebels fighting to overthrow the Nicaragua's govt.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Enrique 'Kiki' Camarena The AP reported today that the State Department is “offering a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of freed Mexican drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero.”

The timing of the reward and the breaking news story in early October 2013 from two Mexican reporters that Kiki’s death was ordered by the CIA and not done by Rafael Quintero may not be just a coincidence.

One Man`s Fight for Justice

Brother of murdered Marine fighter pilot has never given up his quest for justice.

(SOMERDALE, NJ) - Marine Colonel James Sabow The Sabow brothers were only one year apart; both graduated from Georgetown University. Both dated the same girls in high school and for all practical purposes were twins. James Sabow accepted a commission in the Marine Corps and became a Marine Corps fighter pilot. The men remained close as they perused their separate careers.

In January 1991, Colonel James E. Sabow was murdered at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA.
