(GAZA STRIP) - Memorial for Palestinian killed by Israelis Israeli occupation forces (IOF) executed two Palestinian resistance fighters east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday, Hebrew news reports indicated.

The Hebrew radio said that the two Abdul Rahman Al-Astal, 19, and Hamada Shahwan, 19, were trying to infiltrate into Palestinian land occupied in 1948 when they were spotted and shot dead.

(JERUSALEM ISM) - US citizen Emily Henochowicz was shot directly in the face with a tear gas canister as she non-violently demonstrated against the Flotilla massacre An American solidarity activist was shot in the face with a tear gas canister during a demonstration in Qalandiya, today.

Emily Henochowicz is currently in Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem undergoing surgery to remove her left eye, following the demonstration that was held in protest to Israel’s murder of at least 10 civilians aboard the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in international waters this morning.

Over 100 Palestinian Youths Abused in Israeli Custody in 2009: Some Sexually

Adding to the list of Israeli violations of law, child rape.

(JERUSALEM) - This woman's young son was taken by the Israelis and never seen again. Most Palestinian children arrested by the Israel Defense Forces and police are intimidated, abused and maltreated in custody, according to the sworn testimonies of minors who were arrested last year. This happens both before and during interrogation, and several minors have been sexually assaulted.

The Palestinian branch of the non-governmental organization Defense for Children International has asked the United Nations to probe complaints of sexual assaults.

Freedom to Travel to Cuba in 2010

My wife and I traveled "legally" to Cuba in November 2003 on one of the last so-called "People-to-People" tours, visiting Havana, Viñales, and Santiago de Cuba.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Cuba The week of June 1, 2010, the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act (H.R. 4645) will be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture. This bill restores the right of Americans to travel to Cuba and lifts restrictions on agricultural sales to Cuba. It was introduced in February 2010 by Representatives Peterson (D-MN) and Moran (R-KS).

Reportedly, 52 U.S. Senators have agreed to vote for the Bill, but only 205 "yes" votes of the 218 needed are on board in the House. Contact your U.S. Representative urging he or she to vote for passage.

Two officers from the Israeli Civil Administration, guarded by Israeli soldiers, came to the farm and gave the family nine demolition orders for structures built without a permit from the Israeli Military Authority during the last two years.
