(BROOKLYN, Mich. ) - Jeff Gordon NASCAR Jeff Gordon passed Joey Logano on a restart with 17 laps to go and held off the field to win the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.

Gordon has 91 career wins on the premier circuit, which ranks first among active drivers and third all-time.

Jeff Gordon on Pole in Michigan; Sets New Track Record

(BROOKLYN, Mich. ) - Jeff Gordon With a lighting fast new track record at Michigan International Speedway, Jeff Gordon earned his second consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coors Light pole of the season Friday afternoon after turning a lap of 34.857 seconds at 206.558 miles per hour, ahead of Sunday's Pure Michigan 400 (1:00 p.m. ET on ESPN).

Gordon crushed fellow Chevrolet driver Kevin Harvick's track record by three tenths of a second at the two-mile oval set just two months ago. Gordon's qualifying lap was the seventh-fastest pole-winning speed in Sprint Cup history.

NASCAR: Rookie Kyle Larson Wins Pocono Pole

Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Kurt Busch, and Jeff Gordon round out the top five.

(LONG POND, Pa. ) - Kyle Larson NASCAR Kyle Larson won the Coors Light Pole Award on Friday afternoon at Pocono Raceway, turning a record-setting lap of 183.438 mph in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying.

Larson became the first NASCAR Drive for Diversity product to claim a pole position in NASCAR's premier series.

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Kevin Harvick Suddenly the ace qualifier at Stewart-Haas Racing this year, Kevin Harvick dominated Saturday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series time trials at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, winning the pole for Sunday's Crown Royal 400 in track-record speed.

Fastest in all three rounds of knockout qualifying, Harvick earned his fourth Coors Light Pole Award of the season, his second at the Brickyard and the 10th of his career.

Brad Keselowski Roars to Victory in Kentucky

Keselowski led 199 of 267 laps and becomes the sixth driver to win two or more Sprint Cup races this season.

(SPARTA, Kentucky) - Brad Keselowski NASCAR Brad Keselowski spent most of the Quaker State 400 out front, but had to chase down and pass five cars before he could celebrate another victory at Kentucky Speedway.

He passed Kyle Busch for the lead with 20 laps remaining Saturday and pulled away to claim the Sprint Cup Series race for the second time in three years.

Edwards Gets First Road Course Win at Sonoma

Edwards held off Jeff Gordon by .592 seconds.

(SONOMA, Calif. ) - Carl Edwards Carl Edwards won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, marking the first road course victory of his career.

Edwards, who led 26 laps, became the fifth multi-race winner of 2014; he also won at Bristol in March. Edwards now has 23 Sprint Cup Series wins in his career.
