Since 911, I have been asking myself: what happened to Islam? More so since the emergence and mainstreaming of sectarian killings inside Iraq after the 2003 US invasion and the recent mass displacements of religious minorities by ISIS in the Middle East, the largest since the Ottoman Empire disintegrated.

(TEHRAN) - If I were a faithful and pious Muslim and if I were to take a look at the state of the religion of Islam and Muslims today, I would be extremely worried. And even though I am not a Muslim faithful but an Arab secular Christian woman, I can still worry for my Muslim sisters and brothers and the religion of Islam.

This is not a selfless concern. The future of minorities in the Middle East depends largely on the state of the Muslim religion, which is the religion of the majority.

Germany Condemns Saudis as Bahrainis Commemorate Martyrs Day

The charge that Saudi Arabia has funded mosques with links to Islamist terrorism in the West is not new.

(BERLIN) - On 6th December, Germany’s vice-chancellor Sigmar Gabriel asked Saudi Arabia to stop supporting religious radicals amid growing concern among some legislators in Berlin about the funding of militant mosques by the world’s biggest oil exporter.

The unusual criticism of the Gulf state follows a report by Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, which suggested that Saudi foreign policy was becoming more “impulsive”.

(TEL AVIV) - A mere 11% of residents in the Israeli-occupied territories are satisfied with the government’s performance in foreign relations, while 60% are not satisfied, according to a poll regional foreign policy conducted by a think tank namely Mitvim, reported by Jerusalem Post.

Only 7 percent of residents in the Israeli-occupied territories think Israel’s international standing is good.

Iraqi Oil Reportedly Transported to Israel via Turkey

ISIS oil is allegedly transported to Israel via the Turkish-Azeri company of billionaire Mubariz Gurbanoğlu.

(ANKARA) - A Turkish Energy official said that ISIS & Iraqi Kurdistan oil is sold to Israel via Turkey, Today's Zaman reported.

While Turkey's Energy Minister Taner Yilmaz has already stated that Germany and Italy are the main purchasers of Iraqi oil, the Turkish Energy official says that Turkey's Botas company is transporting the oil to Tel Aviv through Turkish port of Ceyhan, according to the report.
