After a long battle with cancer, American icon and sex symbol Farrah Fawcett passed away today, June 25th 2009, at approximately at 9:28 a.m. at the age of 62. Reports indicate that she was in the intensive care unit at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, with her former husband and lifetime friend Ryan O'Neal, and her friend, Producer Alana Stewart.
