VA: 70,000 Veterans Now Off Waiting Lists and Into Clinics

VHA to immediately begin developing a new patient satisfaction measurement program to provide real-time, robust, location-by-location information on patient satisfaction.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Department of Veterans Affairs On Thursday, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced the second in a series of bi-monthly data updates showing progress on its efforts to accelerate access to quality health care for Veterans who have been waiting for appointments.

Acting Secretary of Veterans Affairs Sloan D. Gibson announced that VA has now contacted approximately 70,000 Veterans across the country to get them off of wait lists and into clinics for medical appointments.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Starting Tuesday, Oregon consumers can weigh in on proposed health insurers' rates for 2015 small employer and individual health benefit plans.

During this public process, consumers can also review insurers' cost and quality metrics, which insurers had to submit for the first time this year.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon Modified Dolls The Oregon Modified Dolls are hosting a charity event benefiting The American Cancer Society in Salem next weekend, and anyone over 21 is invited to stop by to see all the action.

This special event will feature a 250-pound pig roast with all the fixings that will be available for a $5 suggested donation, and TNT Hollywood Tavern has graciously donated a beer garden which will be covered, in case of inclement weather.
