Egypt at War with Hamas

“Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas are not the voice of dissent in the Egyptian or Palestinian political scene, but actually they are the voice of disintegration”

(LONDON) - Egypt vs Hamas While Most Arabs seem to agree to disagree; there are few things they don’t argue over like Israel being the primal enemy of the Arab nation – well, after the so called Arab Spring even that is arguable now.

The fact that Israel is winning the conflict with the Arabs is due to many factors, mainly the US/EU political and military alliance.

Gaza crisis: ``We must impose sanctions`` says MP

"If the spineless Obama will not do it, we must do it—even unilaterally."

(LONDON) - Gaza art I'd like to share, especially with American readers, a great moment in the British Parliament on 5 February when the MP for Gorton, Manchester, Sir Gerald Kaufman rose to speak in a debate on the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

"I once led a delegation of 60 parliamentarians from 13 European Parliaments to Gaza. I could no longer do that today because Gaza is practically inaccessible..."

Researchers in Gaza ``Develop Cure for Hepatitis C``

Essentially cut off from the world, they are hoping that scientists in Sweden will take interest in further testing. (Includes Swedish translation)

(SALEM/GAZA STRIP) - Gaza researchers find cure for hepatitis C A team of researchers on the Gaza Strip say they have created a cure for hepatitis type B and, more importantly, hepatitis type C.

The group conducted experiments on people who tested positive for hepatitis (B&C), and after the submission of these patients for the drug, all tested negative with the treatment ranging from 15 to 30 days.

A Pact With The Devil

The King of Israel is dead. Here’s to the demise of his appalling legacy.

(LONDON) - Ariel Sharon Those of you who are familiar with my thoughts and writings will know by now that I loathe invoking any religious edict to make my point. In this case the exception is justified.

You would have to be living in the deepest recesses of the Amazonian jungle or the farthest reaches of Outer Mongolia not to have heard of the death of ‘the devil’ that was Ariel Sharon. Forgive me if I don’t shed a tear nor have a decent word to say about the dead but on this occasion I will just refrain from dancing over his grave.

Palestinians and Tamils: Orwell Couldn`t Have Done it Better

Sri Lanka’s genocidal government, client of genocidal Israel, exchanges honors with genocidal victim State of Palestine. There are no two peoples better suited to be fast allies than these victims of genocide.

(COPENHAGEN) - Gaza children at left, Tamil family on the right. The government of Palestine presented Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa with the “Star of Palestine” the highest award of the State of Palestine, on January 6.

“The relations between Sri Lanka and the State of Palestine are exceptional and we remain committed to extending our fullest support to the State of Palestine and the friendly people of Palestine,” President Rajapaksa said during the conferment ceremony.

Israeli Aggression Leaves Little Hope for Peace

In this year 2014, supporters of Israel in the U.S., both secular and religious, should look long and hard at this strategy of delay and defeat employed by the Israeli Prime Minister.

(CHICAGO) - Israeli forces fire at demonstrators in West Bank. The year 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. That conflict began on July 28, 1914. It did not end until November 11, 1918.

Keep those dates in mind because by July 28, 2014, it is possible that we will witness the start of another conflict, driven by the same stupidity, greed and lust for power that produced the First World War.

The Story of Gaza

The stories themselves don't actually take up that debate. Rather they depict the struggle merely to survive, the bravery that we may in fact all need everywhere if the earth's climate goes the way scientists expect.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Gaza Young authors of fiction from Gaza, some of whom say they are finding Palestine on the internet while unable to see it exist in reality, have just published a collection of stories, written in English, marking the five-year anniversary of the 23 days from December 27, 2008, until Obama's inauguration, during which Israel bombed the people of Gaza far more heavily than usual.

They're publishing a new excerpt of the book each of these 23 days on their FaceBook page. You can talk with them in an upcoming Google Hangout.

Redemption: A Challenge

To sabotage foundational elements of human cohabitation, is downright perilous for mankind, and yet this is what is promoted by people under the ominously fake pretext of “peace”!

(LONDON) - Pro-Israel set To expose the absurd and unrealistic nature of the “one-state with equal rights for Israelis and Palestinians”, and to extract one of the main perils it encapsulates, I would mention here mainly three facts.

These facts have the double merit of being crystal clear, and also of being based on fundamental pillars of civilization, i.e. time-tested.

THE GUARDIAN: Time to End Israel`s Gaza Blockade

This blockade has also resulted in unacceptable limits on personal freedom. It is deplorable for us to allow this continuing collective punishment against Palestinians in Gaza.

(LONDON) - Today marks five years since the Israeli military launched missile and ground attacks on Gaza, which Israel named Operation Cast Lead. According to the UN, 1,383 Palestinians died as a result, including 333 children.

And what of the survivors? For the 1.7 million living in the tiny Gaza Strip, life has become increasingly desperate because of Israel's continuing blockade, backed by Egypt and with no effective challenge from governments around the world.
