(NEW YORK ) - Salem-News.com As many of our readers know, hundreds of charitable volunteers are prepared to sail to Gaza to break the illegal siege that Israel has maintained over the past several years.

Previous attempts have ranged from totally successful, to extremely deadly. Israel is trying everything possible to halt the flotilla, rather than simply letting the aid reach the imprisoned population of Gaza so a new day can begin.

Bill approved to expand dental care to underserved communities

SB 738 will use pilot projects to treat more low-income, rural Oregonians.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon capitol The Oregon Senate approved legislation this morning that will expand access to dental services for underserved populations, such as low-income and rural Oregonians.

SB 738 allows qualified dental hygienists to provide essential dental hygiene services and creates a process for setting up pilot projects that will help expand access to dental care across the state.
