US: Obama Publicly Call on the Government of Bahrain to Immediately and Unconditionally Release Abdulhadi al-Khawaja

(HONG KONG) - Abdulhadi al-Khawaja Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, a human rights defender and democracy activist in Bahrain, may soon die, as he has been on a hunger strike for more than two months. This, in a country that has been a U.S. ally for years.

Al-Khawaja was arrested one year ago and sentenced to life in prison in June 2011 as part of a group trial of 21 activists and human rights defenders.

Why do Western media lie repeating the slogan "Reporting all the news from all angles” when they know they don’t?

(MANAMA, Bahrain) - Why don’t Western media anchors and reporters start doing what they claim they do? Why don’t they report ALL the news from ALL angles? This morning burning tires on the highway filled the air with black smoke and blocked traffic. Yesterday, Molotov cocktails killed a policeman trying to keep order.

The day before saw oil spread on the roads so that cars would slip and slide and collide with each other.

Bahrain: Release Human Rights Defender Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja

(DHAKA- Bangladesh) - Human Rights Defender Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja Bahrain should immediately and unconditionally release Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja from prison.

Mr. Al-Khawaja has been in a Hunger Strike for four weeks, he is now suffering deteriorated health, entering his fourth week without nourishment. In an open letter, Al-Khawaja pledged to stay on hunger strike until “freedom or death.”
