The Albany Community Pool will open registration for summer evening youth swim lessons for ages 3 and older at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - Blue Oyster Cult and Bachman & Turner will perform Saturday at 8:00 p.m. on the Main Stage at the Oregon Amphitheater as the headline act for the 2014 ATI Northwest Art & Air Festival in Albany, Oregon.

The weekend includes hot-air balloon launches at dawn every day; a balloon “night glow” on Friday; more than 70 Northwest artists with their crafts for show and sale; food; a wine and microbrew garden; live music; Family Zone; classic car show; free Young Eagles flights for kids; and aircraft displays, and other activities at the airport.
