David Miliband`s Afghan Endgame Slightly off Mark

(SEATTLE) - It is typical to scoff at David Miliband's position for his post-political career.

But in a recent New York Times article the former U.K Foreign Secretary showed that his intellect and judgment on a number of key issues, including how to bring the Afghan War to an end, was and remains almost finely honed; but it lacks an indigenous solution to be airborne.

German WW II POWs In the U.S.

The U.S. housed, fed, and worked over 400,000 German POWs in 46 states with little or no risk to the populace.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - I just finished "A Brother's Blood" by Michael C. White. The novel is set in Maine where German prisoners of war (POWs) were detained during World War I.

The novel begins many decades after the war when Wolfgang Kallick arrives in Maine from Germany to find out the details of his brother Dieter's death at the camp. The book is loosely based on the POW camp at Seboomook, Maine.

TBI presumably can make the soldier/Marine more susceptible to PTSD but the differences seem slight while the overlap seems to be great.

The first was put together by 25 people including two PH.d.'s and one Education Doctor (E.D.). It seems the rest were qualified because they worked for the government! The document was 63 pages long.
