MONMOUTH, Ore. - Western Oregon used a balanced attack and a .308 hitting percentage to roll to a straight-games victory over Central Washington in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball opener for both teams.

The Wolves rolled past the Wildcats 30-21, 30-28, 30-24 to move to 4-4 on the season and 1-0 in GNAC play.

Central Washington, picked to finish third in the conference this season, fell to 1-9 overall and to 0-1 in the conference.

Bennett hit .529 on the night and Peterson converted .474 of her shots into kills.

As a team, the Wolves hit .457 in the first game to set the tone for the evening.
