CHICAGO, Ill. - The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled former University of Portland pitcher Eric Hull from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

This is the third time this season the Dodgers have called up Hull to the active roster.

The right-handed Hull has made three appearances on the hill for the Dodgers this summer.

In 4.1 innings, the native of Yakima, Wash., has struck out four, while surrendering three earned runs on four hits and two walks.

With the 51’s this season, Hull made 49 appearances out of the bullpen.

He posted a 4-2 record with 11 saves and a 2.74 earned run average. He struck out 81 in 65.2 innings of work and held opposing hitters to a .241 batting average.

At UP, Hull was a two-time All-West Coast Conference Second Team selection.

In 2002, he posted a 2-3 record with eight saves and a 3.64 earned run average for the Pilots.

After spending two years on The Bluff (2001-02), Hull signed with the Dodgers as undrafted free agent in 2002.
