MONMOUTH, Ore. - Western Oregon and Linfield provided shots galore but neither team could find the net during a 0-0 double overtime tie in non-conference women's soccer at the WOU Soccer Field.

The Wolves are now 0-3-1 on the season, while Linfield is 0-1-1.

Western Oregon will next host Pacific University on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Western Oregon fired 24 shots and Linfield had 13 in a day in which the goalkeepers kept busy.

14 of WOU's shots were on goal, while seven Wildcat shots had to be saved.

Ally Meyer worked the shutout for the Wolves (seven saves), while Linfield's Kelsey Hasselblad notched 14 saves for the visitors.

Hasselblad had two terrific saves in the first overtime to help save the Wildcats, on back-to-back shots by Stephani Catt and Cori Young. Hasselblad leaped to knock the first shot away and then grabbed Young's rebound shot.

The Wolves have now given up just five goals in four matches, but are still looking for their first score of the season.
