CALDWELL, Idaho - Freshman Erin Laughlin scored her third goal of the season off an assist from sophomore Jessica Matthews, but Corban's women's soccer team fell to the Lady Coyotes of Albertson, 2-1, on Friday at Symms Field.

Albertson's Amanda Barrieau scored a pair of second half goals, as the Albertson College of Idaho women's soccer team ran their unbeaten streak to six games and recorded their second win in a row over the Warriors after losing 17-straight games against the Salem-based school, dating back to 1995.

Corban got on the board midway through the first half, as the younger Laughlin beat Coyote keeper Sadie Hughes after a touch from Mathews to make it 1-0.

In the second half, ACI mustered a rally, with Barrieau rifling a shot into the net in the 61st minute off an Allie Dufault feed to tie the score.

She would win it for the Yotes in the 80th minute, as her shot off a Leah Roach pass went through the arms and legs of Warrior junior keeper Karyn Allen, into the net.

Corban mustered a late push, getting a corner kick in the final minute, but was turned away by the ACI defense.

Hughes made five saves in her first appearance since September 1 to notch the win in goal for the Coyotes, while Allen equaled Hughes' save output with five of her own.

With the loss, Corban drops to 5-7-0 overall, 2-2-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play.

Meanwhile, Albertson improves to 6-3-2 overall, 3-0-2 in CCC action.

The Warriors are next in action on Saturday, when they continue Cascade Collegiate Conference play against Eastern Oregon University beginning at 2:00 p.m. in La Grande.
