Oregon Cheer Poster Kickoff Tailgate Party Tonight

The Oregon stunt team has placed in the top three during four of the past five years, including a national championship.

EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon Cheerleading squad kicks off their second annual poster sales campaign at the Moshofsky Center Duck Store on Friday from 4-6:30 p.m.

The squad will perform throughout the event, as well as sell autographed or unautographed posters.

For the second year in a row, Oregon Cheer has partnered with Bi-Mart and 245 Photo Graphics to produce the posters.

This partnership allows all proceeds from the posters to go towards fundraising.

The cheerleading squad is selling team posters to raise money for the entire spirit program to travel to Nationals in Las Vegas in February of 2008.

This competition will be the first time the cheer dancers will compete, and the sixth time the stunters will compete.

The stunt team has placed in the top three during four of the past five years, including a national championship.

Along with the Friday kickoff event at the Mo Center Duck Store, the cheerleaders will also sell the posters before and after the Oregon vs. California football game on Saturday, September 29th.

Before the game, posters will be sold in the Mo Center starting two hours prior to kickoff.

The cheerleading squad will also be available near the South Gate entrance to Autzen Stadium for the half hour following the conclusion of the game.

The 2007-08 cheerleading poster will be sold throughout the football and basketball seasons for $5.

Fans can choose to have the poster personalized with a personal message and signatures from the team for $10.
