Coors Light is NASCAR's New Official Beer

Anheuser-Busch said in December that it would end its 25-year title sponsorship of Nascar's Busch Series after the 2007 season.

DENVER - Coors Brewing Co. announced on Tuesday that Coors Light is the new "Official Beer of NASCAR."

Coors said a five-year sponsorship agreement with NASCAR to become the official brew begins with 2008 season.

The value of the deal wasn't announced, but USA Today estimated it to be worth $20 million.

Anheuser-Busch said in December that it would end its 25-year title sponsorship of Nascar's Busch Series after the 2007 season.

The sponsorship deal gives Coors Light the exclusive right to use NASCAR logos in advertising, packaging and promotions.

Coors also is the beer sponsor of the NFL through 2010.
