CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State University Department of Athletics is asking “Beaver Nation” to help those affected by the wildfires in Southern California by making a donation at this Saturday’s game at Reser Stadium against the Stanford Cardinal. Kickoff is slated for 3:35 p.m.

Monetary donations will be accepted at Fan Fair, located at Parker Plaza, and at the Reser Stadium gates. The Corvallis Fire Department will collect the donations from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“This tragedy has affected many, many people, including some of our very own student-athletes and staff,” Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis said. “This is just a small gesture from Oregon State University to hopefully assist in the healing of many lives and help get people back on their feet.”

Funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross on behalf of OSU Athletics, the CFD and Beaver Sports Radio Network stations KPAM 860 (Portland Metro) and KEJO 1240 (mid-Willamette Valley).

Tickets remain available for the Homecoming game and may be purchased by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS, via the telephone at 541-737-4455.

Tickets are also available game day beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the ticket windows located on the south side of the stadium
