EUGENE, Ore. - Nick Reed’s performance last Saturday against Washington State has earned him Pac-10 Player of the Week honors.

Reed tabbed career highs of 11 tackles, 5 for a loss, and 3.5 sacks in Oregon's 53-7 win over the Cougars.

This is the first Pac-10 Player of the Week award for the 6-2 junior, and the first time that a Duck has won it since Blair Phillips’ performance against Fresno State in week two of the 2006 season.

On the year, Reed has 26 tackles, 13 of which are for a loss, and 7.5 sacks.

Up next for the No. 7 Ducks (5-1, 2-1 Pac-10) is a trip to Seattle on Saturday, Oct. 20, to face Washington (2-4, 0-3). Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. with a live telecast on FSN.
