EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon Ducks jumped two spots in the latest college football AP Top 25 and now rank No. 7 - their highest position in the poll since ending the 2005 regular season at No. 6.

The Ducks (5-1, 2-1 Pac-10) also improved their standing in the USA Today (coaches) rankings, coming in at No. 6, and in the Harris Poll, where they picked up three spots to place seventh.

The Harris Poll is utilized as part of the BCS standings, which were released for the first time in 2007 on Sunday.

In the BCS, Oregon is No. 10, dragged down by a No. 13 computer ranking.

Arizona State (7-0, 4-0), the only unbeaten team in the conference (overall record), is No. 12 in the AP, USA Today and Harris, but No. 8 in the BCS.
