GRAND FORKS, ND - Western Oregon used a balanced attack to overcome a halftime deficit, defeating No. 15 nationally ranked Montevallo (Ala.) 80-73 at the University of North Dakota Thanksgiving Classic on Friday. Western Oregon, now 2-0 on the season, will play host North Dakota on Saturday at 6 p.m. Senior guard Brad Krichevsky led five Wolves in double figures with 16 points. Travis Kuhns and Liam Hughes both had 14, while Adonal Arrington and Sam Kelly added 10 each. Kuhns paced the Wolves with seven rebounds, while Krichevsky had four assists and five steals. Down 46-39 at halftime, WOU pulled to within one point (59-58) with 8:53 left. After a three-pointer by Dane Johnson with 7:38 remaining, the Wolves never trailed again the rest of the night. Anthony Brown led Montevallo with 16 points. Western Oregon shot 53 percent from the field on the night, and hit seven of 18 three-point attempts. Source: WOU Athletics
