Corban's Louvier Earns NAIA All-American Honorable Mention

The senior from Seattle Christian High School averaged 0.55 goals per game, 0.28 assists per game, 1.39 points per game, and 2.90 shots per game as a Warrior

SALEM, Ore. - Corban College senior Caleb Louvier has earned NAIA All-American honorable mention recognition for the third straight year en route to capping an outstanding career as a Warrior.

The 5-foot-10 high-scoring midfielder finished an amazing career as part of Corban's men's soccer team by concluding with four straight All-Cascade Collegiate Conference 1st team honors, three straight NAIA All-Region I 1st team honors, and three straight NAIA All-American honorable mention recognitions.

This past season, Louvier led the team in total points with 19 and goals scored with eight. The senior scored the game-winning goal in Corban's 2-1 victory over the Eagles of Northwest on September 26th in his next-to-last road game donning the navy and gold.

Louvier finished his final campaign ranked 5th in shots per game (2.88), tied for 5th in goals (8), 6th in goals per game (0.47), 6th in total shots (49), tied for 7th in points (19), and 7th in points per game (1.12), in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

The senior co-captain completed this season ranked 7th in shots (49), 9th in shots on goal (25), 10th in goals scored (8), 11th in points (19), tied for 27th in game winning goals (1), and 32nd in assists (3) in all of Region I.

In his four-year career, Louvier tallied 37 goals, handed out 19 assists, recorded 93 points, and registered 194 total shots in 67 games. In Warrior history, Louvier ranks 5th in both goals and points as well as 7th in assists.

Corban concluded its 2007 season with an overall record of 6-10-2, 4-8-2 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
