FOREST GROVE, Ore. - A 51 percent shooting performance from the field and a 55 percent effort from three-point range was not enough for Pacific to get past Corban Friday night as the Warriors surged in the second half and went on to a 110-106 overtime victory over the Boxers in men's basketball action at the Pacific Athletic Center.

The Boxers (1-1) shot 56 percent in the first half and enjoyed a 14-point advantage early in the second period before the Warriors (4-0) surged to take an eight-point lead with 1:50 to go. Pacific outscored Corban 10-2 in the final two minutes of regulation before Ian Logan scored 10 of Corban's 18 overtime points to pace the victory.

Adam McElwee (Fr., Woodinville, Wash.) made the most of his first start in a Pacific uniform, scoring 21 points on 8 of 12 from the field and a perfect 5 of 5 from three-point range. LeMar Anglin (Jr., Chicago, Ill.) added 17 with six rebounds and Ross Bartlett (Sr., St. Helens, Ore.) had 16 points to go with seven rebounds. Colin Wester (Fr., Sherwood, Ore.) came off the bench to score 14.

Logan led all scorers with 25 points as the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field for the game and 47 percent from three-point range. Ben Potloff added 21 points and hit 10 of 10 from the free throw line while Nash Keene came off the bench to score 20.

Pacific opened the game strong, hitting for 56 percent from both the field and three-point range to take control. McElwee opened up a 19-13 lead six minutes into the contest. While the Warriors closed back to within three, Jonathan Jury (So., Fontana, Calif.) made it a nine-point advantage on back-to-back long range shots with 8:20 to go.

Corban closed back to within three on a Logan dunk before a trey by Charles Mosley (Fr., Hillsboro, Ore.) and a jumper from Jury gave Pacific the nine-point lead back with four minutes left. The advantage held as the Boxers went into halftime with a 48-39 lead.

The Boxers continued to surge in the second half and took a 14-point lead, 62-48, on a pair of Anglin free throws at the 16:01 mark. Pacific's advantage was 12 points with 13:18 to go when a jumper by Jake Kopra started a 17-5 run, culminating on Brelin Powell's lay-in with 8:21 to go that gave the Warriors their first lead at 73-71.

Corban looked to close the door late, extending their lead to eight, 90-82, on two free throws by Potloff with 1:50 to go. Pacific stayed resilient, outscoring the Warriors 10-2 in the final two minutes. Bartlett hit the final shot of the stanza to force overtime, connecting on a 15-footer to knot things at 92-92.

In the overtime period, Logan kept the Warriors single-handedly in the game and gave Corban the lead for good on two free throws with 54 seconds to go. A.J. Gaulton (Sr., Pleasant Hill, Ore.) brought Pacific back to within two with a pair of free throws with 24 seconds to go, but two more charity shots by Logan kept Pacific from challenging again.

Pacific returns to action for their third game in five nights Saturday, hosting Menlo at 7:00 p.m. Corban returns home on Saturday to face Holy Names.
