Beavers Jodie Taylor Named All Pac-10

The career record holder in goals and points, Taylor led Oregon State this season with 14 goals and 32 points.

Jodie Taylor earned all-conference honors for the fourth time in her career.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - For the fourth time in her career, Oregon State women’s soccer player Jodie Taylor has been named all-conference as the senior forward picked up first-team All Pac-10 Conference honors the conference office announced on Thursday.

The selection marks the first time in school history an Oregon State player has earned all-conference honors four times.

Taylor, who recently finished her career, rewrote the Oregon State record players as she became the first player in school history to record over 100 points in a career. In 78 career appearances, Taylor recorded 47 goals, 19 assists and 113 points.

The career record holder in goals and points, Taylor led Oregon State this season with 14 goals and 32 points as the Beavers finished with a 7-10-3 mark.

In addition to all-conference honors, Taylor was also named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII squad earlier this season.

UCLA sophomore forward Lauren Cheney was named Pac-10 Player of the Year, Stanford midfielder/forward Christen Press was named Freshman of the Year and UCLA's Jillian Ellis was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
