ASHLAND, Ore. - In its next-to-last match of the season, Corban's women's volleyball team dropped a three-game match (25-30, 17-30, 17-30) to the NAIA's No. 10-ranked Raiders of Southern Oregon despite a team-high 11 kills from junior Chelsea Reeher and 10 kills from junior Rashelle Davenport.

With two matches remaining in the regular season, the Warriors needed to sweep this weekend's matches with nationally-ranked Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech.

Unfortunately for Corban, its nationally-ranked opponent from Ashland extended its winning streak to a school-record 19 straight and remained in first place in the conference standings.

Along with her team-high in kills, Reeher also added a match-high seven blocks (five solo, two assist) in helping the Warriors' defense registered a combined 9.0 team blocks.

Freshman Kristen Eiler, freshman Teri Braun, and senior Ashley Lange were the only other Warriors to record kills as the trio registered 5, 2, and 1 respectively.

Sophomore setter Amy Thompson handed out a team-high 25 assists for the Warriors, while senior Caylin Bankston anchored Corban's back line with a team-high 10 digs.

Davenport missed out of her 15th double-double of the season by a mere dig as the 5-foot-10 right-side hitter aided Bankston with nine digs.

Southern Oregon's Jacyln Hamilton-Smith led the Raiders with a match-high 16 kills, while Shanna Claflin and Mia Wortel added 11 and 10 kills respectively.

Southern Oregon's offense was ran by Lindsay Stone as she recorded a match-best 34 assists while her younger sister, Emily, recorded a match-high 18 digs in helping Southern Oregon register a match-best 66 digs in the three games.

With the loss, Corban falls to 12-13 overall, 10-9 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play. Meanwhile, Southern Oregon improves to 24-4 overall, 18-1 in CCC action.

The Warriors conclude their season on Saturday when Corban travels to Klamath Falls to take on the Hustlin' Owls of Oregon Tech beginning at 5:30 p.m.
