SALEM, Ore. - For the second straight season, junior Wade Douglas (Ontario, Ore.) earned all-conference honorable mention after leading Corban's men's basketball team in both scoring and rebounding as announced by the conference office. In his second season as a Warrior, the 6-foot-5 forward led the team in scoring with 432 points and averaged a team-best 16.6 points per game. Douglas also led the team in rebounding with 149 boards, while pulling down a team-high 5.7 rebounds per game. A transfer from Treasure Valley Community College two seasons ago, Douglas shot a team-best 56.3% (182-for-323) from the field, while finishing second on the team in free throws attempted (119) and third in free throws made (68). Douglas scored in double figures in 22-out-of-26 games, including amassing 20-or-more points nine times. In the Warriors' first seven games of the season, Douglas scored 22-or-more points five times including a season-high 29 against fellow conference member Northwest University on December 1st. At the conclusion of his second season in a Warrior uniform, Douglas ranked 4th in blocked shots, 5th in field goal percentage, 8th in scoring, 13th in defensive rebounding, and 15th in rebounding in the conference. In a mere two seasons, Douglas has totaled 857 points (avg. 16.5 ppg) and grabbed 322 rebounds (avg. 6.2 rpg) in 52 games. The Ontario High School graduate has shot an amazing 354-for-653 (54.2%) from the field in his short career and currently sits just outside the top ten all-time in career field goal percentage in Warrior men's basketball history. Corban finished the season 10-20 overall and 5-15 in conference play. Douglas was the lone Warrior to land on this season's all-conference team and one of nine players to receive honorable mention.
