CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Browns continued a busy free agency period Saturday, agreeing to terms to acquire defensive lineman Shaun Rogers from the Detroit Lions in exchange for the Browns' 2008 third-round pick and cornerback Leigh Bodden.

Rogers (6-feet-4, 345 pounds), who will enter his eighth NFL season this fall, is a two-time Pro Bowl selection out of Texas. During 2007, he led the Lions with a career-high 7 sacks to go with 66 tackles.

In his career, he has totaled 447 tackles and 29.5 sacks in 98 games (96 starts).

Bodden has been with the Browns since 2003, when he joined the club as an undrafted free agent out of Duquesne. In five seasons as a Brown, Bodden made 207 tackles and recorded 12 interceptions with 48 pass breakups in 59 games (38 starts). In 2007, he played in and started all 16 games for the first time in his career.

The deal means the Browns now will not pick during the '07 draft until the fourth round.
