DAWGS quiet STORM in Seaside‏ (PHOTOS)

Game two of the Pig Bowl series will be held on July 11th in Keizer.

SEASIDE, Ore. - The Valley LawDawgs quieted the North Coast STORM with a 13 to 7 win in the first game of the Law Enforcement for Youth Pig Bowl series held Saturday June 27th.

The Storm came out strong offensively and moved the ball methodically down the field but the offense sputtered in the red zone most of the day. The two teams battled through four quarters of tough back and force competition.

The two LawDawg touchdowns were scored by running back John Richey and Jeff Gooding the Storm quarterback rushed for the Storm's touchdown.

The game was a good kick of for the Pig Bowl series which continues to be one of the larger fund raising events for Law Enforcement for Youth. Law Enforcement for Youth is a 501c3 non profit organization that provides opportunities to low income, at risk, medically challenged youth and the programs that serve them.

Game two of the Pig Bowl series will be held on July 11th at the Chemawa Indian School located at 3700 Chemawa Road NE, Salem, Oregon. The LawDawgs home game will be against the Metro Knights. Gates will open at 5:00pm and game kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

You can get you tickets at the gate. Adults $8.00, Youth $5.00, 5 and under are free.
