Oregon State Boots C.J. Giles From Men's Hoops Program

Forward played in 10 games for the Beavers.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Junior forward C.J. Giles has been dismissed from the Oregon State men’s basketball program, interim head coach Kevin Mouton announced on Monday.

Giles, a transfer from Kansas, appeared in 10 games for the Beavers while averaging 6.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.

The Seattle, Wash., native and graduate of Ranier Beach HS enrolled at Oregon State on Jan. 8, 2007 and played his first game in an Oregon State uniform in a 77-53 win over CS Bakersfield on Dec. 11, 2007.

The Oregon State men’s basketball team will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 24, as the Beavers host USC in a game televised by FSN Northwest.
