CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State gymnastics program will be featured on this week’s Beavers All Access, first airing on Wednesday, Jan. 2, as part of a special series showcasing Oregon State’s winter sports. The gymnastics feature will first air on FSN Northwest at 2:00 PM on Wednesday and will air again at 6:30 PM that evening. The program will be replayed two more times on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This episode and all Beavers All Access episodes are available on demand through Beaver Nation Online (BNO), the audio/visual service of OSUBeavers.com. Fans will get a peak at the 2008 gymnastics team, ranked 11th in the preseason coaches’ poll. Interviews with six gymnasts and a one-on-one interview with head coach Tanya Chaplin are featured in the 30-minute show, as host Todd Mansfield explores what to expect from the Beavers this season. Oregon State reached the NCAA Championships in 2007 for the second straight season. The Beavers return all 13 letter winners from last season, including three All-Americans, and have added four talented newcomers to the mix. The team gets its season started Friday, Jan. 4 at the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas against No. 4 UCLA and No. 18 Arizona State. The Beavers’ home opener is scheduled for Jan. 18 against Northwest rival Washington at legendary Gill Coliseum at 7 p.m. Season tickets are still available by calling 1-800-GO-BEAVS, in person at the OSU Ticket Office in room 107 of Gill Coliseum or by clicking here. FSN Northwest reaches over one million households in Oregon and 3.5 million households in the Pacific Northwest.
